JUI-F Hafiz Hamdullah came under gun attack

CHAMAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl's (JUI-F) senior leader Hafiz Hamdullah Wednesday came under gun attack after unidentified assailants opened fire on his car in Chaman.

However, the JUI-F leader is safe in the incident which happened while he was travelling to Quetta from Chaman when his vehicle came under attack in the Maizai Adda area, the police said.

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has guaranteed uninterrupted electricity supply during the polling process for tomorrow's general elections.

“All our arrangements are complete. A central control room will be established, and the supply and demand of electricity will be fully monitored," the IESCO spokesperson said.

According to the spokesperson, the holidays of the field officers and staff have been canceled and they have been directed to remain on high alert 24 hours.

Moreover, monitoring cells have been established in six operational circles, and additional materials have been provided to the field offices.

He added that the IESCO chief executive and chief engineer will directly supervise the operations.
