FAISALABAD: Awami Muslim League chief Sh Rashid has said the prime minister is a 'habitual criminal' as he has spent jail terms in the past and once again ready to go for another.
Addressing a press conference Sunday, Sh Rashid said the rulers had made a mockery of court verdicts and such examples were never seen in the past. He also lamented that had Nawaz Sharif accepted his advice, the nation would not have come across such a worst situation.
“Pakistan is taken over by gang of five, who are deciding the fate of the nation,” he said, adding, through passage of 18th and 20th amendments, the rulers and opposition parties had not provided any relief to the masses. He also claimed that all parties had signed over recommendations of PCNS and now they were telling lies.
About Nato supplies, he said a referendum should be conducted to seek public opinion. He regretted that the country was passing through financial crisis as currently it was facing a loss of Rs11 trillion while the poor people were reeling under the pains of unemployment, corruption and price hike.
He also warned that India was constructing dams with plans to create water crisis on rivers which were lifeline of Pakistan. The officers who had looted national entities like PIA, railways and others had been posted to top slots in Islamabad.
