KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 (Online): India lost a plethora of chances but still managed to claw back from a two goaldeficit to hold New Zealand to a 2-2 draw in their second league encounter of the Azlan Shah hockey tournament here on Friday.

The Indians, who went into the lemon break trailing 0-2, came back strongly in the second half to dominate the proceedings for the entire 35 minutes and score twice to secure a point.

Rajpal Singh and Prabhajot Singh scored for the Indians after Darren Smith and Bevan Hari had found the net for the Kiwis in the first half.

The three times champions did not have a very good start to the match as they were found wanting in all departments in the first half as the New Zealanders built the pressure from the flanks.

End.
