MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 07 (Online): Former Prime Minister and opposition leader in Azad Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly Barrister Sultan Mohammad Chaudhry said that Azad Kashmir’s government showed their selfishness at the critical time after the devastating earthquake of 8th October.
He said this while distributing cash relief to the quake affectees at State Guest House on the day of Eid. He said that besides Army, civil administration should also be assign proper role in the relief activities, adding that both the government and opposition should have role in the relief activities.
Barrister Sultan while commenting about the visit of Yasin Malik said that it is good gesture and he would also visit to Occupied Kashmir as well as to Kashmiris settled in foreign countries for the collection of aid. Kashmiri leader has point of view that quake affectees of the affected areas could face difficult situation ahead of the winter season, if proper shelter not provided to them.
He said people of Mirpur would play an active role in the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts. Deputy Opposition Leader Haji Javed Akhter also spoke on the occasion.
