PBC workers irked by admin conduct

MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 18 (Online): President United Organization Pakistan broadcasting corporation Pindi II, Jameel Anwar Kashmiri demanded Minister for information and broadcasting to solve the problems of radio employees who were affected badly by massive earthquake in AJK .

He said that Government of Pakistan has implemented revised pay scales of all civil and corporation's workers from July 2005 and balances of employees of Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir were also paid .

Employees of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) were still deprived from getting new scales while other institutions of ministry of information and broadcasting have already got all privileges, he added .

He informed that at least 60 kin of employees were killed in earthquake but even than they were broadcasting 14 hours transmission but administration was not paying any attention to these employees .
