No relief activities initiated in Neelum Valley so far : Ishaq Zaffar

MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 03 (Online): President Pakistan Peoples party Azad Kashmir Sahibzada Ishaq Zaffar has expressed concern over uninitiated relief activities in Neelum Valley after passing of two months of the earthquake and demanded President General Pervez Musharraf to take immediate notice of the accusers for this slackness .

In his statement here on Saturday he termed it unambiguous injustice and said that for about one and half month the Neelum road remain closed and people of the valley had no option but to eat boiled wheat and corns but even though he added after the opening of the main road relief activities were not initiated .

"From last fifteen years people of Neelum Valley were suffering from shelling from Indian side which ended from last one year but the recent earthquake badly affected the daily life but government didn't pay compensations to affected families so far", he added .

He asked government to initiate relief activities in this areas and pay compensation to affected people and said that government should build shelter homes in far-flung areas without more ado to lessen masses sufferings .
