ISLAMABAD: Terming the death of Nawab Akbar Bugti a national catastrophe Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and criticizing the ’one-man’ rule of President General Pervez Musharraf for creating ’71 like situation cautioned that conspiracies to split the country are underway and there exist a profoundly grave threat of a civil war in the country.

Addressing a hurriedly called press conference Chairman PML-N Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Additional Secretary General Jaffar Iqbal, Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal and Sardar Yaqoob Nasir, President PML-N Balochistan Sunday at the PML-N office said that for the security of the country all the opposition democratic political parties will strive for the integrity of the country from a single platform.

Raja Zafar said whole of Pakistan stand aggrieved over the yesterday (Saturday) night’s catastrophe that saw Nawab Akbar Bugti and his family being mercilessly murdered.

Even today some people want to run the affairs of the country in such a fashion that puts the security of the country at stake, he criticized.

He said "A person who never refused dialogue, who in the capacity of member Shahi Jirga at the time of establishment of Pakistan made Balochistan a part of the country, someone who has been the member of first constituent assembly of the country, someone who took oath of defense and development of the country. Someone who has been Member National Assembly, Governor and Chief Minister of the province. Who has been willing to talk about the proposals of the Parliamentary Committee until the last breath. Many attempts were made at his life earlier. His residence was bombed and fired with rockets that aged person was killed (Saturday) night".

He said the situation is similar to the obstinate and unreasonable attitude adopted by Gen Yayha Khan in East Pakistan.

Lamenting the death of Nawab Akbar Bugti, he expressed his criticism of government act of not handing over the dead body of Nawab Bugti to his heirs. He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif too has condemned the atrocious act.

He said PML-N has always raised voice against use of force at every forum.

He said that we want to convey the message to the family of Akbar Bugti, people of Balochistan and democratic forces that PML-N in this difficult phase of struggle for democracy is with them and will continue to play its role.

We will make a joint programme and will try to stop the aggressor.

He said that an emergency CWC meeting has been called. MMA and other opposition parties will be contacted so as to chalk out a joint strategy against this atrocious act. He said that in this incident neither Punjab nor any institution is involved rather it’s the army chief that is involved in this who is wielding all the powers and is working against the national interest.

We strongly condemn this. No one has the right to tag someone as terrorist on the basis of personal animosity.

PML Balochistan President Yaqoob Khan Nasir said protests are taking place in all parts of the province against the merciless murder of an aged man. No Pakistani or Baloch considers it to be a correct step. This will fan hatred amongst the masses against the military. All the opposition must unite for stopping the military government. The situation is turning out to be that of ’71. There is no implementation of law and constitution.

Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said today the whole nation is aggrieved. Ahsan Iqbal said the government is playing politics of power. Akbar Bugti who used to be part of national political stream is killed being considered terrorist.

Jaffar Iqbal said the country is being pushed towards civil war.

End.

Gen. Musharaf is not to be blamed forthe suicidal death of Akbar Bugti. It was his own fault to hide in a cave with his grandsons. Its sad but they should be blamed not the accident in which they lost their lives. Gen. Musharaf should take things in his own hands and make sure that anyone who is against the beloved country and trying to harm in anyway must be punished harshly. A major clean up is needed and only Gen. Musharaf can do it if he is going to give a lasting shape to Pakistan. A country with lot of natural resources and brainy people why not root out the filth and replace with fresh blood and honest individuals. There are people who can fill the jobs and will perform better. Look at Mr. Aziz not a politicians but done a tremendous good to Pakistan the country he loves and will do anything for Pakistan. A high paid man came to his own country and showed to the world the class he got and he deserves all the credit. Coming back to Bugi trouble, I think its over and anyone crossing the line will be dealt severely.

Its high time that all these opportunists who have been filling their pockets and attempting to take advantage of any issue they can deface and use in their favor they will do it, they have a pig's hair in their eyes and they dont feel ashamed going to any length for their personal benefit or the benefit of their gangsterhold.
Wake up Muslim Ummah of Pakistan and tell these politicians in Pakistan and those hiding abroad that you will no longer listen nor will you march to their drumbeats they are alike dajjal in many shapes and forms who cant wait but for the demise of Pakistan & inshaAllah the Creator Allah SWT will bring them the wrath they deserve.
