THEY'RE the British beauties who have blossomed into glamorous stars after hitting Hollywood.
Back home, they were always naturally pretty but when they crossed the Atlantic, they somehow transformed into polished babes.
Extras star Ashley Jensen is the latest Brit to get a Hollywood makeover - with the Scot ditching her slightly homely look for full-on glamour.
It seems the minute they land in La La Land it's time to hire a personal trainer and make sure you have hairdressers and beauticians on speed dial. MARIA CROCE looks at how some of the Brit pack have been transformed by Hollywood.
KEIRA KNIGHTLEY
WHO'D have thought the tomboyish Keira Knightley from Bend It Like Beckham could be transformed into such a Hollywood beauty?
In her breakthrough British film in 2002 slim, short-haired Keira lacked the wow factor.
But once she hit Hollywood with long hair and a corset for Pirates of the Caribbean, she was a star. At 22, Keira's LA look has graced the cover of several style mags.
JANE LEEVES
HERE, she was known for her big hair and suspenders as one of the glamour girls in The Benny Hill Show. But Jane headed to the US, became a class act and landed a role in the hit comedy Frasier, making her one of Holywood's highest-paid actresses.
CATHERINE ZETA JONES
WHEN she starred in The Darling Buds of May, the Welsh actress was a natural beauty with a fresh face and curvy figure.
Catherine, 37, then headed Stateside, slimmed down, piled on the glamour - and won the heart of Michael Douglas.
The couple and their two kids now spend much of their time in Bermuda, but Catherine still oozes LA style whether she's on a golf course or red carpet.
ASHLEY JENSEN
OUR very own Scots star from TV's Extras has become a Hollywood hottie after landing a role in hit US TV show Ugly Betty.
But it's not just her profile that's improved - Ashley, 37, has turned into a glamour puss since moving to LA.
She swapped the curly locks for straight blonde tresses and said: "I do sometimes look at myself and think this wee Scots girl from Annan's been superimposed on a glossy American thing."
