The country is full of activists in all segments of society, which below required world standards, both in the acquisition of knowledge and talents in building infrastructure. It is a matter of great concern that sub-standard material should be detected in the building of highways meant for heavy vehicle traffic. This smells of corruption and negligence in even NLC, who is responsible for the collapse of a portion of the Northern Bypass flyover at Shershah in Karachi. Everyone knows that there is corruption which is pervasive. The Moghal hired experts in building architectures. Shahjhan had nagged Turkish builders, who had built the Sulemania Mosque for the construction of the Taj Mahal. Even Britain hired European engineers in laying the blockbuster infrastructure of Railways, irrigation, and highways. The world is opening up. Look at America. Anyone can go there with money and participate in both business and industry. Japan has dug its feet in many industries and even outright bought some American ones. The geopolitical region of ECO countries is expected to bring foreign investment and expatriates on a massive scale. All countries will have to get in step with the rest of the world in their governance and the economy. This message should be soaked in the country and especially the tribal areas and to the Taliban in Afghanistan.
