LAHORE: PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif on Monday met British High Commissioner Robert Brinkley in which both the leaders discussed issues of bilateral interest.
Mian Nawaz Sharif lauded Brinkley for his outstanding services for Pakistan and enhancing ties during the farewell call here at the residence of former Prime Minister in Raiwind.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said that UK has supported Pakistan thick and thin in the fields like Education, Health, Science and Technology, Infrastructure and others.
Former Prime Minister said that in future too Pakistan and UK will cooperate on bilateral fields like social problems.
The visiting UK commissioner highly acclaimed the hospitality of the former premier adding Lahore is undoubtedly the heart of Pakistan.
He lauded the democratic set up after the polls.
