ISLAMABAD: Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League-Q Mushahid Hussain Sayed on Friday asked President Hamid Karzai not to allow the use of Afghan land against Pakistan under Indian designs.
“Pakistan wanted a stable and peaceful Afghanistan as it was also in its (Pakistan) interest,” he said while talking to newsmen after a reception held in the honour of newly-appointed Deputy Secretary Information of PML-Q Ghulam Mustafa Malik at the PML House here.
He said Pakistan hosted three million Afghan refugees in difficult situation for 30 long years. “We also extended full support to President Karzai for his election to the Afghanistan President House,” he added.
Welcoming the resumption of dialogue by the Indian government with the leadership of held Kashmir, he said the leaders of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir should also be taken on board on the dialogue process. “However, we want these dialogues to be result-oriented, as dialogue for the sake of dialogue would further deteriorate the situation,” he remarked.
