More troops likely needed in Afghanistan, Mullen says

This is with reference to the Supreme Court’s welcome decision on the NRO. I want to remind the judiciary to shift their focus towards terrorists, who are wreaking havoc in this country. As far as I remember the respective courts have given no terrorist, amongst the thousands arrested, capital or any other punishment. There are some incidents where the Anti-Terrorist Court awards capital punishment to some terrorists, but when these terrorists appeal this decision in the respective High Court, they are not only acquitted of all the charges but also ‘honourably’ released.

The Pakistan Army and the people of Pakistan have given great sacrifices to capture these terrorists and now it is the duty of the judiciary to deliver. If the judiciary keeps on releasing them, we may not be able to finish terrorism ever.
