Iran cyclist wins first phase of Tour De Pakistan

KARACHI: Cyclists passing through Shara-e-Quaid on the first day of 12th Tour-De-Pakistan Cycle Race which started from Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi and will end in Peshawar 23.

HYDERABAD, March 12 (Online): Iranian cyclist Jawwad Mooswi wins the first phase of Tour De Pakistan cycle race, Mohammed Asif of Railways was second.

Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad earlier pedals off a cycle inaugurating the 12th Tour De Pakistan cycle race from mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam on Friday morning.

The first stage of the 11th phase cycle race was ended at Qasimabad in Hyderabad having 205 kilometers distance. Iranian cyclist Jawwad Mooswi won the first stage taking three hours, 42 minutes and two seconds to reach Hyderabad.

Railways' Mohammed Asif was second and Germany's Thomas Lordbrey was third. National champion Dilsher reached seventh in Hyderabad.

The cyclists will proceed to Moro from Hyderabad in the second phase of Tour De Pakistan race on Friday night.
