MULTAN, March 13 (Online): Contempt plea has been filed in Lahore High Court Multan bench against 14 people including Mukhtaran Mai for staging demonstrations and making statement in press against the decision of the court.

The plea was filed by Kanwar Intizar Muhammad Khan advocate on behalf of Ghulam Mustafa choohan under article 204 of the constitution.

The application said that no party was satisfied over the decision of division bench pronounced on March 3. Therefore, appeal could have been filed in Supreme Court against this decision. However no one had any right to voice protest against the decision and target it publicly.

The application added that the people who have been made respondents held protest rallies and targeted judiciary. These moves constitute contempt of court, application added. Mukhtaran Mai and NGOs are defaming judiciary in the name of justice.

Application noted that the press statement given by Mukhtaran Mai after the decision of the court that justice was not done with her comes in the ambit of contempt of court. Therefore, all should be proceeded against under contempt of court plea, applicant prayed the court.

About the Rapes, what will happen to here now?

I think that LHC decision is completely wrong. Mukhtaran Mai is absoultely right.

I don't think that Judge of LHC who gave the decision against Mukhtaran Mai along with Kanwar Intizar Muhammad Khan and Ghulam Mustafa choohan believe on God.

I must tell them that Allah accepts TOBA before signs of death. May be these people will think that they will sincerely make TOBA before death but they should know that it is upto Allah who has to give chance.

The Judge makes a remark which I read in the Urdu News in saudi Arabia.

"It is impossible that two real brothers can rape a women at the same time"

This is a foolosh remarks made by Judge.
