ISLAMABAD: Brigadier (retd) Musaratullah Khan, Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation has said that PHF has proposed to host Olympic Qualifying Tournament next year in Pakistan.

Talking to a private television channel here Tuesday, he said this proposal was floated after a high level meeting of PHF.

Besides this plan, PHF is also considering a plan to organize four and six nation hockey tournaments in Pakistan in 2007.

He said Pakistan national side coach Asif Bajwa has been given a free hand to take decision for betterment of the national side. Whatever performance the team is showing Asif Bajwa is responsible for it, he held.
