LAHORE: An anti-corruption court sent former chief minister Parvez Elahi to jail for 14 days on judicial remand
RAWALPINDI: Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Monday.
During the meeting matters of mutual interest, regional security situation and cooperation in various fields were discussed. The COAS hoped that law and order situation in Kazakhstan is restored soon.
Referring to Afghanistan, COAS stressed upon the need for sincere international efforts to avert a humanitarian crisis there. The COAS said that Pakistan remains committed to cooperate with its international partners for peace in the region.
