QUETTA: Balochistan government striving to develop the agriculture sector on modern lines.
Director General Balochistan Agriculture Research Institute Juma Khan Tareen while talking to APP, said multiple projects were on the cards to facilitate the farmers for boosting agricultural production in the province.
He said the initiatives would help reduce poverty by creating employment opportunities.
To improve the province’s irrigation infrastructure, Balochistan received a $107 million grant from the Asian Development Bank.
