CIT interrogated Imran Khan in Adiala Jail

ISLAMABAD: A combined investigation team (CIT) of the National Accountability Bureau, Rawalpindi, interrogated PTI chief Imran Khan in the Adiala Jail in 190-million pound NCA scam case for the second day on Thursday.

According to sources, the 3-member investigation team comprised two senior investigation officers and one from the prosecution branch of NAB. The NAB team obtained permission from the court for interrogation.

Meanwhile, Bushra Imran Khan skipped her appearance before the CIT, citing personal domestic engagements and sought a fresh date for her appearance.

Bushra had appeared before the CIT last Monday and after interrogation, the CIT handed her a questionnaire containing 11 questions for a written reply. The questionnaire mostly contained questions related to the Al-Qadir Trust.
