Efforts being made to sensitize ‘Panahgahs’ dwellers in wake of Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Focal Person on Shelter Homes Naseem ur Rehman has said concerted efforts are being made to sensitize ‘Panahgahs’ dwellers about standard operating procedures , issued by the government to check the spread of the coronavirus pandemic's second wave in the country.

During his visit to a Panahagh in Islamabad for routine inspection, he said government is ensuring strict enforcement of the health guidelines such as mask wearing, hand washing and social distancing at the facilities across the country to keep the virus at bay.

He said awareness about SOPs against Covid-19 is being spread by installing Radios at the shelter homes, besides providing facilities.

He said all the public and private sectors’ resources are being mobilized to ensure regular medical supplies at shelter homes of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
