Iran says non-participant US has no right to assess Iran JCPOA compliance

TEHRAN: Iran says non-participant US has no right to Iranian Compliance to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Spokesperson for Iranian permanent mission to the United Nations, Alireza Miryousefi made these remarks in reaction to statement by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken saying that Iran should first abide by its commitments and then US will assess.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the United States needs to come back to its commitments and "Iran will be ready to respond immediately.
