KP Govt approves Rs1.6bn for establishment of nine Rescue 1122 stations

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved one point six billion rupees for establishment of nine Rescue 1122 stations in six districts of the province.

According to provincial planning and development department, the rescue services will be available in the far flung areas of province to cope with emergencies including accidents, natural disasters and calamities.

Meanwhile, eleven hundred cadets have been deputed in tribal districts of province to meet any emergency situation in the area.
