ISLAMABAD: National Command and Operation Center has showed serious concern on rising positivity of COVID-19 in the country and asked citizen to once again display good example of social behaviour and follow SOPs for collective good.
The meeting was held in Islamabad today (Saturday) with Asad Umar in the chair.
Expressing serious concern on rising disease trend, the meeting decided that SOPs implementation week will be observed across the country from today onwards.
Major contributors in the national positivity are Punjab, Islamabad and few cities of KP and AJK and all Federating Units has been asked to take immediate actions for strict implementation of SOPs.
The meeting said vaccination drive for elderly population is going and senior citizens are encouraged to get themselves vaccinated from designated vaccination centers. The meeting directed provinces to ensure smooth continuation of vaccination drive for health care workers and elderly citizen.
