NCOC meeting in progress to discusses impact of second wave of COVID-19

ISLAMABAD: National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) meeting is in progress in Islamabad with Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar in the chair.

It is discussing the second wave of COVID-19 and its impact on the education sector.

The meeting is being attended by Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood and Adviser on National Health Services Faisal Sultan.

The meeting was informed that the virus positivity ratio was recorded at 7.46 percent today which is the highest.

The positivity ratio in Azad Kashmir is11.45 percent, Balochistan 7.73, Islamabad 8.09 percent,  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 9.85 percent, Sindh 9.63 percent, and Punjab 3.95 percent.

The virus positivity ratio has increased at the educational institutions from 1.8 percent to 3.3 percent.
