Pakistan will participate in Asian Under 18 Baseball Championship

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Baseball Federation has confirmed its participation in the Asian Under-18 Baseball Championship.

Yesterday, the President of Pakistan Baseball Federation Syed Fakhr Ali Shah said that the Asian Under-18 Baseball Championship will be played in Taiwan from September 6 to 12 this year. The Pakistan Baseball Federation has informed the Asian Baseball Federation in a letter to participate in the championship.

He said that the Asian Under-12 Baseball Championship would be played in November this year. If Pakistan does not participate in these two events, it will have a huge impact on our rankings.

Syed Fakhr Ali Shah hopes that Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza will organize training camps for baseball players in preparation for the events as soon as the Corona virus epidemic ends.

"We have contacts with the players and they are training at home," he said in response to a question. We pray to God Almighty to save us from the Corona virus epidemic as soon as possible.

He urged the players not to leave their homes unnecessarily and to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the Corona virus epidemic.
