LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said it will bear the treatment expenditure of legend Tauseef Ahmad suffering from cardiac issues.
The PCB will pay for the treatment of Tauseef Ahmad as he is an asset of Pakistan cricket, it stated on Tuesday. A couple of days ago, the former cricketer was rushed to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) as he had a heart attack.
The board said that it has been in constant contact with the ailing star. Reportedly, he was attending a wedding in Lahore when he complained about a cardiac issue.
Tauseef will remain in the High Performance Centre till he is able to travel, the PCB said.
