ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the concerned authorities of Punjab to remove all obstacles in the Central Business District Project as soon as possible in accordance with the law so that the project could reap significant economic benefits.
He was addressing briefing meeting of CBDP and relocation of Walton Airport in Lahore on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Special Assistant Dr Shahbaz Gil, SAPM to CM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Advisor on Interior Affairs Shehzad Akbar and others high officials.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan also attended the signing ceremony of agreement during his visit to Lahore.
This agreement was signed between Punjab Government and Asian Development Bank regarding financial assistance worth 40 billion rupees.
This amount will be spent for development projects related to drainage, sanitation and solid waste management in two major districts of Punjab, Sahiwal and Sialkot.
