WASHINGTON: Chairman US Senate Armed Services Committee Senator Jack Reed has warned against hasty withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
Talking to newsmen via video conference, he said the Biden administration should seek an extension of the May 1 deadline for withdrawal to give diplomats more time to negotiate an agreement between the Taliban and Afghan government.
