Tayyab oust Nasir Iqbal to reach BISL International Squash Championship 2020 semis

QUETTA: Pakistan number one squash player Taayab Aslam is drawn against third seed Amaad Fareed in the semifinal while Asim Khan will meet Danish Atlas Khan at BISL International Squash Championship.

The PSA Challenger Tour continues in Pakistan this week, with the BISL International Squash Championship holding both a men’s and women’s event at the Quetta Club.

World No.44 Tayyab Aslam, who has reached the final in his last three PSA tournaments on home soil, winning two of those. Now, top seeded Tayyab has stormed into the semifinal of the BISL International Squash Championship after defeating Nasir Iqbal, who has recently won 8th connective satellite international events.

The scores read as 7-11, 11-6, 13-11, 10-12, 10-12.

Second seed Asim Khan trounced Waqas Mehboob to secure semifinal berth with the final score line of 11-4, 11-8, 11-9.
