QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has stressed the need for commencement of testing for COVID-19 at district level in the province.
He was presiding over a high level meeting held in Quetta to review the situation that emerged after the spread of coronavirus and facilities being provided at all divisional and district health units of the province.
The Chief Minister instructed the concerned officials to immediately prepare basic infrastructure for setting up diagnostic laboratories for Coronavirus testing at all divisional and district headquarters hospitals.
During the meeting, the matter of provision of food packages to the deserving self-isolated patients of COVID-19 under the Nutrition Program was also reviewed.
The meeting was apprised that the program will be started soon.
