ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government does not have the resources to give more money to the people, our exports have fallen. Now only a few specific sections will remain closed, all others will be reopened.

Prime Minister Imran Khan while informing the nation about the situation of Corona virus said that he had said on the first day that the virus would spread and deaths would increase. I request everyone to follow the SOPs. The more careful the people, the better. Until the vaccine arrives, we will have to stay with Corona. Lockdown is not a cure.  We have to be a responsible nation. If the virus spreads slowly, the pressure on hospitals will decrease.

"I have been saying since day one that the poor have to be taken care of," he said. In India, the poor are in dire straits due to lockdowns, where poverty and viruses are spreading and deaths are on the rise.

The Prime Minister said that unfortunately the way the lockdown took place, it caused great inconvenience to the lower class. The lockdown didn't go the way I wanted it to. Rich people were shouting to lock down but the attitude of the working class was different.

Imran Khan said that the research revealed that 25 million people in the country are day laborers. I wondered what would happen to our daily wages if we locked down like Wuhan and Europe? These are the people whose hard work runs the country.

He said that one lakh people have died in the United States but the government there also decided that if there was a complete lockdown, the economy would come to a standstill. In addition, other richest countries have also decided to open the lockdown.

Addressing the nation, the Prime Minister said that our economic conditions were not good before but due to the corona virus epidemic, investment and our exports have declined worldwide. 13 to 150 million people in Pakistan have been affected. Now the government does not have the resources to give more money to the people. Some specific areas will remain closed, all others will be reopened. Tourism must be opened. The Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments will set up SOPs in this regard.
