US to re-join Iran nuclear agreement if Teheran returned to compliance with nuclear deal

WASHINGTON: President-elect Joe Biden says the United States will re-join the agreement as a starting point for follow-on negotiations, if Iran returned to compliance with the nuclear deal.

In an interview with 'The New York Times', he said in consultation with allies and partners, the United States going to engage in negotiations and follow-on agreements to tighten and lengthen Iran's nuclear constraints, as well as address the missile program.

Joe Biden warned that if Iran acquired a bomb, it would spark a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.
