Work on 672 small hydel power projects, in progress: CM KPK


PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says work on 672 small hydel power projects having capacity 55 MW is in progress.

Inaugurating five mini hydel power projects in Kaghan, Mansehra today (Saturday) , he said the projects will help in providing cheap electricity to the people besides creating job opportunities in the area.

He said more than twelve hundred households; schools and tourists centers will be given cheap electricity from these power stations.

The Chief Minister lauded PEDO for completing hydel projects within stipulated period.
