ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection Dr. Sania Nishtar has said that 48 Ehsaas Nashonuma Centres are being established in 13 districts of the country in the first phase to provide health facilities, food and cash stipend to women and children.
Talking to media in Zhob, she said the program is aimed to tackle stunting and improve the nutrition of the poorest children through a combination of cash stipends, nutritional food and medical examination.
Dr Sania Nishtar said six Nashonuma Centres are being opened in Kalat and Zhob districts of Balochistan under the umbrella Ehsaas initiative.
