Arab League reappoints Ahmed Aboul Gheit as Secretary General

CAIRO: Arab League unanimously reappointed Ahmed Aboul Gheit as its Secretary General for second 5-year term.

The 78-year old veteran Egyptian politician, who served as Egyptian foreign minister between 2004 and 2011, was first elected to the office in July 2016.
