Army Chief expresses grief on demise of hockey legend Abdul Rashid Jr.

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday expressed heartfelt grief on passing away of hockey legend Abdul Rashid Junior.

The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released Army Cheif’s statement via tweet and send condolences to the hockey legend’s family.

“Pak[istan] has lost an iconic sportsman & a great human being. May Allah bless his soul & give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen,” COAS.
