Balochistan Govt executing various mega projects to overcome water scarcity

QUETTA: Balochistan government is executing various mega projects to overcome water scarcity in the province especially in metropolis, Quetta.

Public Health Engineering Department official told Radio Pakistan Quetta correspondent that the Mangi dam is being constructed by the cost of over nine billion rupees.

More than eight million gallon water would be provided on daily basis to Quetta city after completion of Mangi dam.

Similarly, construction work of Halak and Babar Kach dams is also in progress. The Halak dam would provide three to four million gallon water daily for the residents of Quetta and its adjoining areas.
