Corps Commander meeting reiterates resolve to defeat terrorists at all costs

Rawalpindi: Corps Commander Conference (CCC) on Tuesday reiterated resolve to defeat terrorists and their abettors at all costs, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.

In a series of tweets, ISPR detailed the agenda of the CCC held at GHQ in Rawalpindi today where the participants paid special tribute to martyrs and their families for supreme sacrifices for a peaceful Pakistan, especially the recent incidents in Balochistan. “Their sacrifices won’t go to waste,” the participants said.

The CCC also took a comprehensive overview of the domestic and regional security environment. Special focus was given to reviewing the situation along the borders and internal security. The forum expressed complete solidarity with Kashmiri brethren “till the just realization of their cause in accordance with their aspirations and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.”

ISPR added that CCC expressed satisfaction over positive developments in the Afghan Peace Process. The forum noted that the defeat of complete spectrum of threats facing the country is only possible through a comprehensive national effort.

The forum paid special attention to the developing situation along the Line of Control, Working Boundary and Eastern Boundary. “Training and special pursuits must remain our prime focus to enhance operational preparedness and thwart any possible misadventure,” the tweets said.

The CCC also paid rich tributes to the people fighting against COVID-19, lauding them with respect and appreciation.
