COVID-19: NCOC decides to shut down all business activities by 10pm

ISLAMABAD: National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has decided to shut down all business centers, wedding halls, restaurants and shopping malls by 10 p.m. in cities in the wake of second wave of Coronavirus pandemic.

The decision is aimed to curb the spread of an already rising number of Coronavirus infection in the country.

Essential services such as medical stores, clinics and hospitals will remain open and public parks have been asked to shut down by 6pm.

The NCOC also directed the provinces to ensure compliance of wearing of face masks and other SOPs against Covid-19 particularly in bazaars, shopping malls, public transport and restaurants.

The forum decided that weaning of face mask will be mandatory both in government and private offices.

These decisions will be implemented from today in major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Hyderabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Peshawar and Quetta.
