ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 56 coronavirus deaths and 3,138 new positive cases in one day.

According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 3,138 cases of coronavirus were reported while 56 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 8,603.

The total number of confirmed cases reached to 429,280.

As many as 374,301 patients have recovered from the disease while more than 2,575 reported to be in critical condition.

Punjab

After sharp increase in the cases, the number of patients swelled to 125,250 in the province. The province reported 3,265 coronavirus. causalities.

Sindh

The cases of infection have surged to 189,687 in the province, the most affected region in Pakistan. The death toll has reached to 3,099 in the province.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 50,762 in the province while the death toll has surged to 1,439 in KPK.

Balochistan

There are 17,604 confirmed cases while 171 patients died of the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 7,517 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 183. On the other hand, there are 4,765 cases in GB with 98 coronavirus deaths.

Islamabad

There are 33,695 cases in the capital city while 348 people have lost their lives.
