An unprecedented Euro 1.82  deal was finally announced to confront the worst recession.

Leaders hope the 750 billion Euro recovery fund and its related 1.1 trillion euro 2021-2017 budget will help repair the continent’s deepest recession after the coronavirus outbreak shut down economies.

The plan will be submitted to the European Parliament for approval.

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron, in a Tweet hailed a "historic" European Union deal on a post-pandemic recovery fund that would help build a "green and prosperous Europe" and further improve European solidarity.
