Fourth World Cup Stadium to be inaugurated in December

DOHA: Qatar is all set to inaugurate the fourth World Cup stadium in December. The Al Rayyan Stadium will host the Amir Cup 2020 final between Al Arabi and Al Sadd SC on December 18, which falls on Qatar's National Day. Of the eight FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums, Al Rayyan Stadium is the fourth to be completed.

The Al Rayyan Stadium can fit in up to 40,000 spectators, it mentioned on its website. It also stated that three stadiums – Khalifa International, Al Janoub and Education City – have all been inaugurated and are fully operational, with the remaining five at various stages of construction.

All eight stadiums will be completed well in advance of the tournament, which will kick off on 21 November 2022.
