Govt committed to make railways safest mode of transport: Swati

Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Danila Ganich and Honorary Council of the Russian Federation and Chief Executive Officer of Habib Rafiq Construction Company Habib Ahmed held a meeting with Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati in Islamabad and discussed different railway projects.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati said the government is committed to make Pakistan Railways as safest mode of transport by introducing persistent reforms, requisite measures to minimize the losses and generating income.

On his part, Russian Ambassador Danila Ganich said Moscow is keen to invest in various sectors of Pakistan Railways, especially for railway wagons and freight trains.

Danila Ganich said the Russian council is also interested in the development and transformation of Pakistan Railways.
