Govt fixes support price of sugarcane at Rs.200 per 40 kg: CM Punjab
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the government has fixed the support price of sugarcane at 200 rupees per 40 kg to protect the rights of farmers.
In a statement issued from Lahore on Tuesday, he said that the crushing season will commence in Southern Punjab from November 10 while in other districts of the province from November 15.
