The Senate was informed today (Wednesday) that despite of severe economic challenges, the government is making every effort to not put burden on common man.

Responding to a point of order in Senate, leader of the House Shahzad Wasim regretted that due to bad economic policies of previous governments we don’t have any other option than to adopt the IMF program.

Shahzad Wasim said during our five year tenure, we will pay around 55 billion dollars foreign debt.

He said during the same period PML-N paid just 27 billion dollars.

The House will now meet on Friday at 10:30 in the morning.
