Govt taking practical steps to provide relief to weak segments of society: Sarwar

LAHORE: Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar said that Pakistan needed an industrial revolution to emerge as a strong economy of the region.

Addressing a ceremony in Faisalabad, he said that the government has put country on the path of economic recovery.

The governor said that the entire world is now having trust in Pakistan as they know that Pakistan is now being ruled by the honest leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Governor said that the government has launched historic programmes for public welfare. He said that the government is taking practical steps to provide relief to the weak segments of the society. He said that the PTI government s is pursuing a policy of complete adherence to transparency and merit.

Later Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar laid foundation stone of the first water project under the Aab Pak Authority in Chak Jhumra that would provide clean drinking water to sixteen villages.
