Govt taking steps to increase forest cover in country: Amin Aslam

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam has said the government is taking steps to increase forest cover in the country.

Talking to media persons in Quetta, he said target of planting 10 billion trees in the country is being achieved through public-private partnership.

Malik Amin Aslam said Pakistan is among the top 10 most affected countries due to climate change and rising temperature has adversely affected Balochistan and tree plantation is required to mitigate these effects.
