GENEVA: World Health Organization says all hypotheses on the origins of COVID-19 remain open and require further analysis and studies.

At a press conference in Geneva with Peter Ben Embarek, WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said its mission to Wuhan failed to identify source of virus but poured cold water on the theory that it leaked from city's virology laboratory.

Tedros said a summary report of the mission’s findings could emerge next week which would be made public.
