IMF approves aid for world's 28 poorest countries

WASHINGTON: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved new emergency aid for 28 of the world's poorest countries to help them better cope with the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic.  

This is the second tranche of aid for the countries including Afghanistan, Nepal, Tajikistan and most of the African countries.
