Indonesia condemns France attacks, but warns against Macron's remarks


JAKARTA: Indonesia has warned French President Emmanuel Macron that his remarks insulted Islam and hurt the unity of Muslims everywhere.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo in a televised address today said freedom of speech that injures the noble purity and symbol of religion is absolutely wrong, it should not be justified and it needs to stop.
