JENIN: Israeli military conducted a series of raids in the Jenin refugee camp. The Syrian state news agency (SANA) has reported that Israel carried out air strikes early this morning that targeted locations on the outskirts of Damascus city and caused some material damage, according to Reuters.
The Syrian military said the attack was launched from the direction of the Golan Heights, Sana reports.
Israel’s military said earlier that it has hit sites in Syria following attacks launched toward northern Israel from Syrian territory.
Footage has also emerged of a wounded Palestinian man, reportedly shot by Israeli forces, being assaulted in the city of Qalqilya, where raids are also ongoing.
There have also been reports of raids in the town of Kafr Qaddum near Qalqilya, towns of Yatta and Al-Dhaheriya, south of Hebron, the city of Jericho and the nearby Ain Sultan camp and the village of Al-Mughayir, east of Ramallah.
